Terry Jones, best known as part of Monty Python鈥檚 Flying Circus, will present 鈥淢edieval Lives鈥 at Augsburg on Friday, Oct. 5 2007, at 7 p.m. in the Hoversten Chapel.聽 Jones wrote and performed with this comedy troupe from 1969 to 1974.聽 He also co-directed the film 鈥淢onty Python and the Holy Grail鈥 with Terry Gilliam and directed Python鈥檚 鈥淟ife of Brian鈥 and 鈥淢eaning of Life.鈥
Jones鈥 talk on this most-misunderstood era will point you to things that will surprise and provoke, that will make you think, and that will leave you smiling. Live music, door prizes and a book signing will follow the presentation.
This special presentation is a benefit for , the summer camp聽at Augsburg College for students aged 14 – 17. Proceeds will go toward providing scholarships to the camp.
