Applications for admission from undocumented students are reviewed and considered solely on the basis of academic achievement and potential. Moreover, generous institutional financial aid is available to incoming first-year and transfer undocumented students pursuing a bachelor&#8217;s degree.<\/p>\n<h2>Our Commitment to Supporting All Students<\/h2>\n<p>We have deepened the impact of our commitment to undocumented and DACA students by committing to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Broadening access to higher education<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for undocumented youths in Minnesota, in part by providing institutional aid and grants to incoming first-year and transfer undocumented and DACA students admitted and enrolled in the undergraduate day program.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Reducing financial barriers<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> faced by undocumented students so they can participate in academic and co-curricular activities that are core experiences for any college student \u2014\u00a0 including internships, undergraduate research, supplemental instruction sessions, community engagement, and student leadership opportunities.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Empowering undocumented and DACA students<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to come out of the shadows, to develop self-advocacy skills, to persist in their academic studies, and to graduate.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Augsburg recognizes that there is still work to be done to ensure that undocumented students, their families, and allies are fully supported from the time they inquire about the application process to graduation.
