My proudest academic achievement is excelling in classes and then being able to provide academic support for new students by tutoring and mentoring incoming first-year students.<\/span><\/p>\n Hometown: Bloomington, Minn. M<\/span>y favorite thing about Augsburg is the <\/span>community of students and professors who <\/span>are active and engaged in their communities.<\/span><\/p>\n Hometown: Blanding, Utah Augsburg has shaped me by encouraging me\u00a0<\/span>to open my mind and pursue a wide variety of interests. After graduation, I plan to work with AmeriCorps for one year.<\/span><\/p>\n Hometown: New Hope, Minn. My proudest academic achievement is\u00a0<\/span>making the Dean\u2019s List every semester.\u00a0<\/span>I am also involved with the StepUP Leadership T<\/span>eam and the Mindfulness Club.<\/span><\/p>\n Hometown: Arden Hills, Minn. Augsburg has made me more aware of the world I live in. My proudest academic achievement was studying abroad in Central America and after graduation I plan to work with youth at a camp, church, or other organization.<\/p>\n Hometown: Tomahawk, Wisc. Augsburg has helped me to become a critical thinker\u00a0and engaged\u00a0both in my community and on a global platform. My proudest academic achievement is publishing research on Sustainable Human Development in Nepal.<\/p>\n Hometown: Giddings, Texas My favorite thing about Augsburg is how diverse and well-rounded the curriculum is. I\u2019ve been able to tailor my college experience to what I feel I\u2019ve been called to do after college and to my future career.<\/p>\n Hometown: Oakdale, Minn. I love Augsburg’s welcoming community and value Augsburg\u2019s diversity. My proudest academic achievement is completing the River Semester and learning about the connectivity of the river.<\/p>\n Hometown: Stanchfield, Minn. Through various experiences, debates, discussions, and philosophical thought, I\u2019ve come to find a home in the \u2018grayness\u2019 of life\u2014there\u2019s no distinct \u2018black and white\u2019 side to anything.
