Program History<\/h3>\n

Launched in October 2003, the Campus Kitchen at Augsburg began as a unique partnership between Â̲èÖ±²¥, The Campus Kitchens Project, Augsburg Dining Services, and local community agencies. It was one of many Campus Kitchen chapters on college campuses throughout the country. Its original mission was to provide for basic needs, service learning, leadership development, and genuine engagement between the University and the community through food.<\/p>\n

Today, the Campus Kitchen program at Â̲èÖ±²¥ works to make good food more accessible both to students at Augsburg and to our neighbors in Cedar Riverside and other surrounding communities. We also pride ourselves on having a work environment where everyone prioritizes the connection and community of each other above all. Ultimately, this is what draws many of the students to the program, along with many of the awesome shifts we get to be involved in!<\/p>\n
